The short version
Calceteiro does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no analytics libraries, no advertising networks, no crash-reporting services and no third-party SDKs of any kind built into the app. Calceteiro makes no network requests at all — it works exactly the same with the device in airplane mode as it does with a full signal.
What stays on your device
Everything the app remembers about your play — your reputation and rank, the commissions you have finished, the pages filled in your Caderno de moldes, the designs you save from the free plot, and your sound and haptics settings — is written to a small SQLite database inside the app's own Application Support folder on your device. It never leaves the device, is never backed up to a server we operate, and is deleted the moment you delete the app.
Photos and the camera
The free plot lets you turn a photograph into a paving mould. When you choose a picture with the system photo picker, or take one with the camera, Calceteiro reads it on your device, reduces it to an 18×24 black-and-white grid, and then discards the original image. The photo itself is never saved, copied, uploaded, or shared anywhere — only the black-and-white grid you see on screen is kept, as part of the design you choose to save.
Notifications
If you turn on the optional daily reminder, Calceteiro schedules a local notification for 9:00 each morning using Apple's on-device notification system. This scheduling happens entirely on your device; no reminder data is sent to us or to anyone else.
What we do not have
- No account, sign-in, or user identifier of any kind
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
- No in-app purchases, and no payment data
- No location data
- No contacts, calendar, or health data
- No sharing of data with third parties, because no data leaves the device
App Store privacy details
Calceteiro's declared App Privacy details are "Data Not Collected." Its bundled PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy file declares no tracking, no tracking domains and no collected data types. The single required-reason API it uses is UserDefaults, declared under reason CA92.1, used only to store the small on-device settings described above.

Children
Calceteiro contains no chat, no user-generated sharing between strangers and no data collection of any kind, and is suitable for a general audience. It is not directed specifically at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If Calceteiro's data practices ever change, this page will be updated before the change ships, and the version in the App Store listing will describe the new behaviour accurately.
